What is the NEW treatment from Profhilo which offers an alternative to dermal fillers?

SHOULD I CHOOSE PROFHILO, PROFHILO STRUCTURA OR DERMAL FILLER?

PROFHILO - often reffered to as "butter under the skin" and the "injectable moisturiser", is intensely moisturising and is great for practically everyone! However if you have volume loss, profhilo is much less likely to address this issue.

PROFHILO STRUCTURA - The happy meduim, Profhilo Structura sits in between traditional Profhilo and dermal filler. It will lift and fill adipose tissue, and also stimulate your own natural elastin and collagen production.

DERMAL FILLER - adds volume where volume has been lost, either due to age or genetics and is highly effective for volume loss and 'camouflaging" jowls, contouring and adding definition. There are many different brands and density of dermal filler. At Gallery we only use CE marked dermal filler with extensive scientific research backing the products.

CAN I HAVE PROFHILO AND DERMAL FILLER AT THE SAME TIME?

Absolutely! Profhilo and Dermal Fillers have different jobs, however they work great together as a team! For example, you may have volume loss but also could benefit from some injectable hydration, so both treatments would be suitable for you and can be administered during the same appointment, which is often ideal to reduce attending separate appointments for both treatments and also to reduce the potential downtime (there is always a risk or swelling and/or bruising) post treatment. The products do entirely different jobs and are administered differently, so it will be apparent which product has had what effect.

HOW LONG DO PROFHILO AND DERMAL FILLER LAST?

For best results we recommend an initial 2 sessions of Profhilo, administered 4 weeks apart. Thereafter, one session every 6 months to maintain results. Dermal Fillers last around 12 months on average (sometimes less, and often a lot longer) and usually only one session is required but some people may need a touch up a month or so later. So if you are having both treatments you would have Prohilo every 6 months and Dermal Filler once a year.
